Loss prevention leaders appoint new CEO




31st May 2006, London – IntelliQ, the leading provider of retail loss prevention solutions has appointed Simon Grant as its CEO.

 

Simon takes up the role in a career that encompasses establishing new and early stage software tools and services companies in the mainframe and EAI sectors. He has extensive experience managing both direct and in-direct sales channels in the UK, Europe and North America, together with heading up product development and sales teams.

 

Simon comments: “My role at IntelliQ will be to ensure that this growing software company can “punch above its weight” in increasingly competitive global markets.”

Key achievements in Simon’s employment history include turning a failing mainframe software

transformation tools company into a recognised world leader in less than 12 months; gaining consistent growth in revenue and profitability; negotiating multi-million software licensing deals with IBM Global Services and DMR to mention just a few.

 

Simon’s previous positions consist of three years at Savant Enterprises as Sales and Marketing Director and Managing Director; a consultant for Durham Software Engineering Ltd; seven years as Founder, Managing Director and President of Software Migrations; Managing Director for The Legacy Evolution Company, as well as time spent as a Non-Executive Director and Independent Consultant

 

Simon holds a BA Hons Political Science degree and has also contributed to a number of publications which span Reverse Engineering, the impact of technology and telecommunications in Great Britain.
