Pre-Sales Consultant


Job Overview

Being able to work closely with the sales team and other members of the Company including Professional Services, and Product Development to determine the prospects’ and client’s requirements, and to develop and assist in executing a Sales Plan to confirm IntelliQ’s capabilities to meet those requirements.

    • Oversee and participate in pre-sales calls alongside Sales Executives, providing technical presentations and product demonstrations in order to contribute to the overall success of the sales campaign.
    • Supporting the activities of sales for new business campaigns to prospects and for additional modules and applications to our existing customer base.
    • Being able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels with our prospects and within IntelliQ
    • Proactively translate customer requirements and constraints into viable solutions
    • Assisting the sales team in board  level presentations
    • Acting as a product champion, technical advisor and mentor to prospects and customers for all elements of the IntelliQ solutions
    • Using your experience of retail requirements and the IntelliQ solutions to assist with the response to prospect and client tenders and RFP’s; the Presales Consultant will be responsible for gathering all the technical elements of our response from all parts of IntelliQ, with the Sales Executive having overall responsibility for the final response document.
    • Track relevant Retail industry trends and maintain a close relationship with Product Development to keep abreast of new product initiatives and releases, providing a credible level of expertise on relevant practices, processes and industry drivers
    • Deliver update awareness training to the Sales Team regarding new features and developments to the RetailKey LP solution
    • Maintain a current data base of the main competitive products that IntelliQ encounters in the marketplace
    • Understand implicitly the experiences and lessons learnt from clients and be able to weave this into demonstrations and presentations
    • Continued development of the IntelliQ demonstration system to ensure it stays fresh, exciting and shows our solution in the very best light
    • Develop and manage an on-site ‘Technical Evaluation Pilot’ that will prove technical capability and negate the need to do long PoV/PoC’s – this will entail massaging the data to ensure client anonymity and to provide evaluations for many different retail sectors i.e. fashion, food, DIY, etc.
    • Being responsible for seamless handover from Sales to Client Services including completing the Handover Document
    • Construct and maintain a quarterly contact rota with the technical representative within the existing customer base.  Contact to be either face-to-face or telephonic as deemed appropriate.
    •  You will be part of a team working with both existing and new clients to demonstrate real Return on Investment from IntelliQ Solutions
