Theme Park Employee Paid Herself, Family over $100K in Fraudulent Refunds
An employee at Disney who issues out refunds to customers has been alleged with misusing more than $100,000 into her and her friends bank accounts. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) has announced that Jennifer Alejandra Insuasti, 32, of Kissimmee, is charged with one count theft of $100,000.

A survey done by Natwest in 2020 has announced that fraud costs UK businesses more than £19 million a year. Around 40% of this figure correlates to employee and internal fraud. This shows that businesses of every size are at risk of a fraud attack. It Is estimated that two thirds of employee fraud is committed by employees with at least 5 years' service, with one in five fraudsters having over 10 years' service.
